In this guide, we will walk you through how to bulk edit your product prices on your E-commerce website.
Exporting Your Products
1. Log in to your E-commerce website dashboard (if you are unsure how to do so, follow our tutorial here).
2. In the black column, on the left hand side of the dashboard, hover your cursor over the “Products” menu item, followed by “All Products”.
3. This will then take you to a page where you can view all of the products which have been added onto the site. At the top of this screen, click the “export” button to take you through to the export settings.
4. Click the purple button at the bottom right of the screen to generate the CSV file. This will they download a spreadsheet for you to open and complete any changes you need before saving and closing the file.
Uploading The New Information
5. In the black column, on the left hand side of the dashboard, hover your cursor over the “Products” menu item, followed by “All Products”.
6. This will then take you to a page where you can view all of the products which have been added onto the site. At the top of this screen, click the “import” button to take you through to the import settings.
7. Upload your file using the “Choose File” button, tick the box labelled “existing products that match by ID or SKU will be updated.“. Once the box has been ticked, click “Continue“.
8. On the next page, double check the fields all match up correctly and then click “run the importer” at the bottom of the page. This will complete the import and update all of your products.
